PACKAGING MARKET RUSSIA

The Russian economy is charted for economic recovery again after two difficult years in 2015/2016. The main reason for this positive trend is the increase in oil prices since late 2016. The growth drivers for the coming years include industrial production, investment and the construction sector. As consumption picks up, demand for packaging machinery and materials is also rising. The trade fair “upakovka” (29. January to 1. February 2019) – member of the interpack alliance – is considered the most important Russian showcase for the industry with a focus on packaging technology and process engineering. The ranges displayed by international and Russian exhibitors cover the complete value chain.
